Darden is the Director of Jazz Studies, Jazz Voice Instructor and Director of the Downbeat Award-winning, Mason Jazz Vocal Ensemble at George Mason University (where the first Jazz4Justice was held in 2001). She earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in Jazz Performance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Maura Burke Weiner
Maura is trial consultant and President of JuryMatters, Inc., a virtual jury service for trial attorneys. She and her husband, Ed, founded Jazz4Justice in 2001. Maura earned her B.A. in Geography and Demographics from Mount Holyoke College.
